By now, you've done your homework and are poised to begin the design phase. Great job on strategizing! Once you schedule your site evaluation, our sales and design team will join you on-site to delve into the specifics of your project. They'll address any questions, offer expert advice, and take note of your preferences to prepare an accurate quote.

Here are a few crucial aspects to review during the visit:

• Job-site Access: We'll ensure there is ample space for our construction equipment to access your property smoothly.

• Utilities: Our team will check for any underground utilities to avoid any conflicts with the proposed pool location. We'll also inspect gas and electrical meters to ensure we have the necessary access for connections.

• Project Layout: We'll discuss the preferred placement of your pool and suggest optimal layouts, including the surrounding patio area.

• Restrictions: Each project comes with its unique challenges. To navigate these effectively, please have a Plat of Survey, a copy of the Septic layout (available from the County Health Department), and marked yard utilities (We will call OneCall for all municipal utilities . Owners are responsible for private utilities but we can help.) ready for our review.

• Wish List and Budget Goals: Dreaming of waterfalls, outdoor kitchens, or fire pits? Let us know all the features you desire, and we'll align them with your budget to create a comprehensive plan.

2) POOL QUOTATION PROCESS

Within 3-5 days following your site evaluation, you will receive an initial quotation via email. This quote will encompass all elements discussed during your site visit. Based on your input, we are ready to modify any aspect to better suit your preferences and requirements.

3) DESIGN PHASE

After you've examined the quote and are ready to move forward, we'll embark on the design phase.

Wapsie Pines’ design team will employ specialized software, utilizing advanced 3D technology to craft several versions of your dream backyard oasis. These programs allow us to provide a virtual tour of your proposed pool area, detailing every aspect of the project.

4) PERMITTING PROCESS

Once you've given the green light on your design, we initiate the permitting process. Collaborating with our in-house design team, your project will be forwarded to our partner architect, who will handle all final permitting and construction documentation.

Construction is complete, and your anticipation has paid off. It's time to dive in and relish your brand-new swimming pool. After your project is finished, we equip you with the essentials for successful pool ownership.

Wapsie Pines will promptly clean and balance your new pool post-construction. Next, we arrange an on-site orientation session with one of our knowledgeable team members. We provide all the necessary manual maintenance tools and initial chemicals. During the session, we'll instruct you on maintaining water chemistry, cleaning your pool, and operating the equipment, ensuring you feel confident and well-prepared to enjoy your pool to the fullest.

7) POOL OWNERSHIP

Pool Chemicals:

Wapsie Pines will line you up with the appropriate chemicals and ensure you feel comfortable prescribing your pool. Our dedicated maintenance team can test these levels for you or you can maintain them on your own.
